We’re looking for a strategic yet hands-on Corporate Human Resources Manager to support our HR Director and lead day-to-day corporate HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing big-picture HR strategy with rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
You’ll provide leadership to a small but mighty HR team, partner closely with leadership, and ensure our HR practices support business goals while staying fully compliant with employment legislation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning across the organization
- Provide guidance and support to HR team members, including the HR Coordinator and Recruitment Specialist/Marketing
- Oversee HR systems, including HRIS (Plex), attendance tracking, and general HR administration
- Manage performance management programs and employee engagement initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on HR policies and employment matters
- Support workplace investigations and ensure compliance with legislation (ESA, AODA, OHSA, WSIA, Human Rights Code, etc.)
- Develop, track, and analyze HR metrics to support informed decision-making
- Lead HR projects and drive continuous process improvements
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and proactively advise leadership on HR risks
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field
- CHRP designation (or currently working toward CHRL)
- 3–5 years of progressive HR management experience
- Strong working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
- Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
