We’re looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams and bringing custom retail fixtures and millwork projects from design through production.
What You’ll Do
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings and engineering packages using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), routing structures, and production documentation.
- Design custom retail fixtures and displays using wood, metal, acrylic, and mixed materials.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, Production, and customers to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.
- Provide technical support throughout manufacturing, installation, and prototype development.
- Troubleshoot production-related design issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of engineering standards, libraries, and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, millwork, cabinetry, retail fixtures, store fixtures, or custom fabrication.
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience creating production drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, project specifications, and customer requirements.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining and custom fabrication environments.
