We’re seeking an inspiring Executive Director to lead the Foundation’s fundraising, community presence, and overall operations. This role is key to advancing our mission, strengthening donor relationships, and ensuring long-term sustainability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead strategic planning and growth initiatives, including new and diversified fundraising opportunities
- Serve as the public face, building strong relationships with donors, partners, and the community
- Drive fundraising efforts including major gifts, annual giving, grants, and signature events
- Champion exceptional donor stewardship, storytelling, and engagement
- Lead, mentor, and support a small, dedicated team while fostering a collaborative, values-driven culture
- Oversee budgeting, financial stewardship, compliance, and reporting
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to support governance, planning, and decision-making
- Oversee communications, marketing, and social media
What You Bring
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising and relationship management
- Proven success securing major gifts and sponsorships ($10K+)
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire and align teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Strategic, empathetic, and community-focused leadership style
- Experience in non-profit, healthcare, or palliative care environments is an asset
